Paul received a B.A. in Pastoral Studies and Communications, a M.A. in Bible, a M. Div. in Pastoral Theology and is presently finishing up the thesis portion of a Doctor of Ministry degree.
Twenty-five years ago Paul, Sharon and their children joined High Point ministering as the Staff Evangelist, traveling across the nation in local churches, schools, and camps. In January of 2003 Paul became the Senior Pastor of High Point Baptist Chapel.
They are grateful for their grown children’s passion for serving God and enjoy the fact that they are presently part of the High Point family as adults themselves. David and Kerri and their children, Elliana, Liam, Derek, and Alexis live in California; Philip and Laura Von and their three sons, Wellesley, Leland, and McCully, are on staff at High Point; and their youngest, Daniel and Meghan, live in Manhattan.
Paul and Sharon are avid readers, enjoy writing, drama, and try to exercise. Paul is a diehard fan of the Green Bay Packers, Sharon mourns football season.
Stephen graduated from Maranatha Baptist Bible College in 1982 with his Bachelor’s in Pastoral Ministries and was ordained in 1987. With 30 years of ministry experience including church planting, pastoring, children’s ministries, Christian School administration and teaching, Steve has served as the Outreach Pastor, overseeing the missions program as well as the outreach and evangelism of High Point since 2005.
He and his wife, Bonnie, have been married over 30 years. They are blessed with two married sons, wonderful daughters-in-law, and three adorable grandchildren. They are very thankful for the times they can connect with them throughout the year.
Steve and Bonnie enjoy the outdoors: camping, walking/hiking, biking, swimming, fishing, picnics, and long walks on the beach. They have enjoyed exploring new areas in Pennsylvania and along the East Coast.
Luke earned a B. A. in Humanities from Bob Jones University. It was here where Luke also met and later married his wife Ellen. In 2006, Luke received a Master of Arts in Christian Ministry from Calvary Baptist Theological Seminary.
Before coming to High Point Luke worked at Calvary Baptist Church and Ministries in Lansdale, PA as a teacher, coach, and on maintenance staff. As Youth Pastor at High Point Luke is involved in preaching and teaching, youth outreach, teaching in the school, coaching, in home Bible studies and leading missions trips. Luke and Ellen are also heavily involved in the music ministry here at High Point.
Luke and Ellen were married in 2000 and have three children, Jadyn, Ashlyn, and Kamryn. Luke enjoys playing most sports, fishing with his daughters, hunting, riding motorcycle, and doing handy-man jobs. Ellen enjoys planning, shopping for great deals and they both enjoy spending time at the beach whenever possible.
David earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Alabama. He also completed post-graduate work in Literature at Alabama. In 1999, he graduated with a Masters of Divinity degree from Calvary Baptist Theological Seminary. He and Angie are currently pursuing certification at Christian Counseling Educational Foundation.
David has served as the Stewardship Pastor since 1991. David is also involved in teaching, both home and abroad, preaching, counseling, music, multimedia aspects of High Point ministries, and computer and networking support of High Point ministries. Angie is involved in children’s ministries, music, discipleship and counseling.
David and Angie were married in 1976. They have three married children: Sarah (m. Ryan Cushman), Zachary (m. Jenni), and Miranda (m. Brad Detandt). David and Angie enjoy the outdoors, travel, and hospitality.
Philip graduated with a B.A. in Theology & History from Northland International University in 2007. Shortly after graduation he married Laura and came on staff at High Point. In 2010 Philip earned a M.A. in Biblical Counseling from Westminster Theological Seminary.
Philip came to High Point through the camping ministry; he spent his summers during college working at different camps around the country, and served as a camp counselor at High Point in 2004 and returned as head counselor in 2006. After serving as an intern for 5 years at High Point, Philip became the Discipleship Pastor in 2012. His primary responsibilities are overseeing ABF’s (Adult Bible Fellowships), counseling, training leaders and overseeing small groups, teaching, planning worship, and building church community.
Philip and Laura have three sons, Wellesley, Leland, and McCully. They enjoy popcorn, traveling, spending time with friends and family, being in the outdoors, and watching Detroit and UofM sports (Ok, maybe that’s just Philip). Laura likes mothering, reading, and photography and works as a RN in Reading, Pa. Philip enjoys sports, music, hunting, jeeps, counseling, and teaching.
Brad received his education degree from Baptist Bible College of Clarks Summit and did his graduate work at Dallas Seminary. He is an ordained minister and a licensed school principal. During his time in ministry he has been a football and wrestling coach, a youth pastor, and an assistant principal before coming to HPBA in 2012.
Brad and Sarah met at college and served as counselors at High Point Camp. They married in 2000 and have four children Jedidiah, Luke, Seth, and Gracie who keep them very busy with life and ministry. As a family they enjoy camping, amusement parks, and traveling. During the summer, they spend much of their time at Knoebel’s camping and riding rides. The Feldmeiers are avid Irish Football fans, and enjoy playing most any sport. Brad grew up fishing with his father and loves to catch catfish and bluegill.
When Brad is not in his office or wrestling with his kids, he enjoys his hobbies of mudding in his Jeep, rebuilding his tractor, riding four-wheelers, grilling/smoking meat, and shooting guns. His favorite thing in life is spending time with his best friend, Sarah Jane.
Tom earned a B.S. in Physical Education in 1999 and is presently working on a M.A. in Organizational Leadership. He first started with High Point Camp in 1996 as a camp counselor and has served as a camp intern at High Point, the director of Paardeberg Mountain Retreat in Cape Town, South Africa, and now as the program director at High Point Camp.
Tom and Jenn met at school in the 7th grade in Lancaster, PA. They married 16 years later and have two children – Addison and Deacon. Tom and Jenn love the outdoors and exercise and traveling. Jenn enjoys racing triathalons, hiking, and scrapbooking. Tom enjoys hiking, backpacking, mountain biking, and hunting.
