New Praise & Prayer Requests:

  • Praise the Lord for a wonderful 65th anniversary celebration for Don & Joan Swanger. They say, "Thank you to all those who responded to our card shower. We appreciate your thoughtfulness. It was a surprise!! God is gracious and merciful, and has cared for us all these years. He is Faithful! Ps. 145:3"

  • Please continue to pray for Chris Jones. He was admitted to the hospital last week for complications with his leukemia medication. He is still in the hospital, but hoping to get to rehab soon. Pray that this will be so sometime in the next week.

  • Thank you for your prayers for Lois MacQuarrie (a former church member) who lives with her family in FL now. She did get Covid, however, we praise the Lord it is a very mild case and she was able to reschedule her surgery for January 28.

Continuing Prayer Requests:

  • Please continue to pray for Alan Stone as the doctors work toward rehabilitating him with the goal of getting his trach out soon. Pray that he will get good sleep, which is very beneficial for his continued healing and recovery.  He is at the Good Shepherd Hospital in Bethlehem.

  • Please keep Ron Marinelli in your prayers as he is at HUP on a ventilator in with many complications. Pray for Kathy as she travels to and from the hospital most days.

  • Please pray for Jodi Fieger's mother, Mary Ellen, who has late stage ovarian cancer. She has been with hospice care for a month now and she and her family are in need of our prayers and the Lord's comfort during this time of trial.

  • Praise update on Melissa Alberici's sister-in-law, Leslie, who has 2 kinds of cancer and has been battling for a year already. Her last PET scan was good with it showing no new or current tumors right now. Continue to pray for her as she will always need to be on meds, and as she struggles with fatigue.

  • Please pray for Chris Jones as the doctors care for him with his leukemia.

  • Pray for Rey Gendreau as he was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer. He is on a 9 month regime of radiation and chemo. The doctors are hopeful they will be able to keep up with it.

  • Please keep Josh Lacey's mom, Norma Nanni, in your prayers. She has stage 4 breast cancer and has just started an aggressive type of chemotherapy. Pray that she will tolerate the chemo and that it will stop her cancer from progressing and heal her.

  • Continue to pray for Bev Sensenig's mother, Mary Kurtz, who has intestinal cancer and is taking chemo. She is feeling well and the cancer is under control. Continue to pray for her father, Rocky, for his salvation.

High Point Missionaries:

  1. Keep Sana & Nancy Singh in your prayers as they are being treated for covid in India. Sana is improving and Nancy is still on oxygen.

  2. Pray for PV & Aruna as they work through getting the necessary paperwork and meetings to return to their country of ministry. Continue to be in prayer for PV's health with his leukemia diagnosis.

  3. Pray for Matt & Kailey who are waiting again on paperwork from the government to get back into their country. There are more official invitations and visas that are required and seem to take so long to receive, but there is progress and hope. Continue in prayer for them as they wait and fill out official documents to be submitted to the governments.

  4. Continue to pray for the underground churches in Afghanistan and the leadership of the churches in Myanmar, they are meeting and living in the forests as the terrorists destroy houses and make arrests in the townships.
