Updated Prayer Requests:

  • Beth Bullington's  memorial service will be on May 15th at 10am, here at High Point, with a light luncheon to follow.  Please continue to pray for her husband, Stuart, and their children in England, and for family here in the states, for the comfort and peace only the Lord can provide.

  • Here is a praise and prayer update for Grant Lockard's mom(Melanie Lockard) who was recently diagnosed with colon cancer. After daily radiation and chemo treatments for the last few months, the cancerous tumor has shrunk significantly. A surgery to remove the tumor will now be scheduled. Please pray for continued health and encouragement for her and the family during this time.

  • Please pray for Melissa Alberici's sister-in-law, Leslie, who has 2 kinds of cancer and has been battling for a year already. Pray for her comfort physically and mentally. She has 3 young adult daughters.

  • Please keep praying for Parke Hayes who is diagnosed with stage IV esophageal cancer. Pray for strength for Parke and wisdom for the doctors who will be taking care of him and treating him.

  • Please pray for Dave Inmon who was recently diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia. His desire is to glorify God through this.

  • Continue to pray for Bev Sensenig's mother, Mary Kurtz, who has intestinal cancer and is taking chemo. Pray also for her father, Rocky, for his salvation.

  • Please keep Herb Betz in your prayers as his health is declining daily. Pray also for Rosemarie who is caring for him at home.

  • Pray for our church leadership and the many ongoing decisions for our church, camp, and school.

If you would like to add a prayer request to our prayer updates please email Heidi Blackwell (hblackwell@hpbchapel.org).

High Point Missionaries:

  1. Continue in prayer for PV Joseph as he works on getting all the necessary paperwork completed for a visa and for his health as he and the doctors monitor his cancer.

  2. Pray for the Hannays in PNG, they will soon know which tribal group they will go to to share the Gospel - there are still many tribal groups in PNG who have not heard the gospel and are waiting to learn this message of hope in their mother tongue. Pray for wisdom and discernment in the days/weeks to come.
