Announcement from High Point Baptist Academy:  

“HPB Academy is seeking to hire a Part-Time janitor to assist our current janitorial staff.  This is a paid position that reports to our Head of School, Melissa Kauffman.  The typical schedule will be approximately 30 hours/week, afternoons into evenings, Monday - Friday and weekends as needed.  For additional information or to apply, contact Melissa Kauffman by phone 610-286-5942, Ext. 132 or email”

  1. Volleyball Night - Come out Thursday evenings at 7pm to play some volleyball in the church gym - there is some construction happening this month, so watch our instagram posts to keep updated. Please invite your friends to join you. contact Michael Blackwell if you have any questions

  2. Camp Prayer Walk - this Sunday evening from 5 - 5:45pm, walk with counselors around the camp to different areas and pray for the summer program. Conclude with root beer floats on the camp deck.

  3. Sign up to attend the Freedom Fireworks Event and share with your family and friends to come out and join you. Use this link to share and register.

  4. Just for Kicks/ Soccer Camp - children entering K-5 grades are welcome to come out for 4 Wednesday evenings from 7pm - 8:30pm, starting July 6. $15 per child which includes a t-shirt. register here by June 30th. There will be an hour of training and a short Bible lesson each evening.

New Praise & Prayer Requests:

  • Evan & Jordan Detwiler had baby Margaret on Thursday, June 23rd. Everyone is doing well. Pray for Julia Kidd who is expecting to have her baby girl very soon. Pray for good health and a safe delivery.

  • Please continue to pray for Rona, Jordan & Sammy Sbraccia. They are so thankful to be home. Pray that Sammy can continue to gain weight, eat well, that his chest incision would heal well and that his check up appointments would be positive.

  • Continue in prayer for Jill Marquette, daughter-in-law of David & Arlette Marquette, who was recently diagnosed with stage four cancer. They have 2 children in the academy ages 13 & 14. 

  • Remember Logan Cone and his family, in your prayers, as he will be having a complicated spinal surgery on Tuesday, June 28th at DuPont. He's expected to be in the hospital 5 days, with a 4 month recovery period.
